Groups of Elevated Depression Risk
Certain categories of people are most of all prone to the development of depression. These categories include:
- People who want to develop and sustain the image of them being the best;
- People who are preoccupied with very responsible kind of job – they are terrified to commit a mistake;
- People whose job is serve others and they feel their inferiority and inability of further career growth;
- People who had serious health damage (such as limb loss) and can not reconcile themselves to it;
- Teenagers;
- Women with new-born babies (post-natal depression);
- People who have experienced serious personal drama (death of friend/relative or divorce);
- People with recurring financial problems;
- People with life-threatening/incurable diseases which have been diagnosed recently
